Chemical Peel (Clinical Exfoliation)
Chemical peels are a type of exfoliation, used on the skin of the face to remove the dead skin cells, and promote new skin cell growth. They are often used by clients having age spots, or who wish to even out their skin tone.
A chemical peel aims to improve the tone and texture of the skin. This uses an acid to lower the skin’s PH and encourage exfoliation by loosing the connections between skin cells, which in turn encourages the replenishment of new cells.
Whilst a single treatment can provide immediate results in the radiance of the skin; treating inflamed acne, fine lines or texture issues can take up to eight weeks of treatment.
