About
Tina is a degree-qualified Mental Health Nurse with extensive post-graduate training as an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Practitioner.
Tina’s nursing career focused on Crisis and Forensic Mental Health, where she worked with individuals facing some of the most complex and demanding challenges. Her time spent in these high-pressure settings helped to shape a grounded, empathetic approach, combined with a clear, direct style that proved essential in building trust and making meaningful progress in difficult circumstances. This approach is deeply valued by clients, both in her role as their clinician and as their advocate.
Over the past three years, Tina has specialised in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD and autism. During this time, she has worked with hundreds of patients across a range of private clinics, including the well-regarded Makewell Clinic in Milton Keynes. Now practising through her own clinic – Neuro FX at BCR – Tina offers a streamlined, end-to-end service that removes unnecessary delays in screening, diagnosis, and treatment, giving clients clarity and support when they need it most.
Tina is passionate about supporting people with ADHD and autism, not only as a clinician, but as someone with close personal experience of how life-changing the right diagnosis and treatment can be. Her approach is grounded in care, and not a commoditised product, because the only diagnosis worth having is the right one.
About My Work
I specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ADHD and autism in both adults and children. My work is grounded in current clinical evidence and delivered with a personal, human-centred approach.
Who I Work With
- Children (age 6+), adolescents, and adults
- Individuals struggling with focus, emotional regulation, impulsivity, or anxiety
- Parents or carers seeking clarity for their child’s behaviour or development
- Adults exploring late-diagnosed or previously unrecognised ADHD or autism
- Professionals, employers, and educational staff looking for guidance and support
What I Offer
- Full diagnostic assessments for ADHD and autism
(using validated tools and clinical interviews in line with DSM-5 and NICE Guidelines) - Prescribing and titration of ADHD medications, where appropriate
(including methylphenidate, dexamfetamine, lisdexamfetamine, atomoxetine and guanfacine, following NICE NG87 and NG142) - 12-month treatment and monitoring plans, including monthly prescriptions, follow-up reviews, and blood pressure/pulse monitoring
- Support for GP shared care arrangements, including detailed prescribing and treatment plans to support safe handover where appropriate
- Post-diagnostic guidance, including referrals and information for therapy, coaching, education or occupational support
- Advice and advocacy to help clients secure reasonable adjustments at school, university, or in the workplace
(including support with DSA and employer documentation) - Written diagnostic reports, recognised for medical, educational, and workplace use
- Autism top-up assessments, where indicators emerge during ADHD assessment
(using tools including the ADOS, delivered in person)
How I Work
- Clinically thorough, using structured tools alongside meaningful conversation
- Clear and jargon-free, with honest advice and a focus on what works
- Always tailored to the person, their situation, and their goals
If you’d like to discuss whether I can help, you’re welcome to get in touch. You don’t need a GP referral to book an assessment.
