About
Hi my name is Christina Jassi, I have over 17 years’ experience working in the National Health Service (NHS). I have been developing my private practice since April 2019. I work adults and children of all ages.
My approach to therapy is that I believe each person is unique, I therefore take the time to ensure I have a good understanding of your unique experiences and difficulties, and will tailor treatment based on your needs. I also take into consideration the role individual and larger contextual factors can have, including relationships, work, cultural and spirituality.
I believe one of my key strengths is in my ability to foster good relationships with others. I will therefore work to ensure we develop a good trusting relationship, supporting you to feel safe and secure enough to explore your difficulties and work towards positive change.
About My Work:
I have experience in working in a variety of NHS settings including primary and secondary mental health services, where I have worked with both mild to moderate and complex mental health difficulties. Including:
❇️ The full range of anxiety disorders (including phobias)
❇️ Post-traumatic stress disorder
❇️ Intensive care syndrome
❇️ Complex mental health difficulties.
❇️ Co-morbid physical and mental health difficulties.
❇️ Work difficulties
❇️ Relational difficulties
During my private practice I have further developed my experience in working with young people and this has included working with family members.
